Bavaria 40 from the year 2002 / Version with 2 cabins and 2 bathrooms / Polish flag / EU VAT credited / New engine and Saildrive from 2024 / Approximately 40 hours of use.Originally registered in Spain, later under British flag and currently Polish. Its original Spanish documentation and documentation proving EU VAT are preserved. The current owner acquired it in Spain in March 2022.

Solid, spacious, and very livable cruising sailboat, built by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH, with a length of 11.98 m, a beam of 3.99 m, and a draft of 1.90 m. Design category A.
This unit corresponds to the appreciated layout of two cabins. In the bow, there is a spacious owner's cabin with a double bed and a full en-suite bathroom. In the stern, there is a second large cabin and a very spacious bathroom with access from the salon. The interior offers ample storage, a salon with a U-shaped sofa and a large table, two facing armchairs, and a U-shaped kitchen.
Completely re-engined in 2024 with a Volvo Penta D2-50 engine of 50 HP and a Volvo Penta 130S-D Saildrive, both with about 40 hours. Fixed three-blade propeller, bellows, anode, conduits, pre-filter, control wiring, and starting battery replaced during installation. Last engine check in July 2026. Vetus bow thruster.
Electrical installation with a 180 Ah service battery, a 180 Ah dedicated bow thruster battery, and a 95 Ah engine battery, all from 2024. Victron Energy Centaur 12/40 charger, shore power inlet, and photovoltaic solar panel. In 2024, the bronze through-hull fittings, a good part of the wiring, and various plumbing elements were also renewed.
Roller mainsail and genoa in average condition, asymmetrical spinnaker barely used, and pole. Original standing rigging.
Electronics with Garmin GPSMAP 721 plotter, Raymarine Tridata speed and depth sounder, Raymarine i60 wind instrument, Raymarine ST6002 autopilot, Navicom RT-550 DSC VHF radio, and compass. The autopilot works, although its digital display does not correctly show the data.
Electric windlass Lofrans Cayman 88 of 1,000 W with 40 m of chain new in 2026. Bimini, anti-UV cover —the translucent ones need replacement—, cockpit cushions, outdoor shower, swim ladder, and gangway.
