Owner's comments
The boat has been maintained with care and equipped with many new devices. The remaining work is mainly cosmetic in nature (woodwork and cleaning). Some of the extras, such as heating and waste water tank, are already present and can be easily installed.
The Jeanneau Sun Way 29 combines compact dimensions with a surprisingly spacious layout. Thanks to the centerboard, the ship is particularly suitable for drying out and sailing in shallow waters, while it performs excellently under sail. The underwater hull has been completely rebuilt in 2025 with primer and antifouling, and relaunched in June 2025.
The current owner purchased the boat in 2019/2020 at Oceano Sport in Les Sables d’Olonne (France), during which various professional works were already carried out, including the replacement of all sea valves, gelcoat repairs to the hull, and installation of a new anchor chain.
The interior of the Sun Way 29 is surprisingly spacious and bright, with a thoughtful layout that is ideal for both short trips and longer stays on board. Upon entering, you will find the galley to port, equipped with a gas stove (of which the gas installation, hoses, and pressure regulator were completely renewed in 2024). To starboard is the navigation corner with panel and radio.
The woodwork is in good condition; some surfaces in the cabin will still be cosmetically updated (varnish layer). The cockpit is fitted with new teak (2021).
The boat is equipped with a reliable Volvo Penta 2002 inboard diesel engine, coupled to a 3-blade fixed propeller with rope cutter. The engine received maintenance in 2023, including an oil change and filters.
The electrical installation has been fully modernized in recent years with Victron equipment and new batteries, ensuring the energy system is in excellent order.
