Dehler 39 SQ Carbon, designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and equipped with a CARBON Southern Spars mast and boom. Recently fitted with a new Yanmar.GeneralOther: This Dehler 39 SQ Carbon is a sporty and seaworthy sailing yacht, designed by the renowned Judel/Vrolijk & Co and equipped with a high-quality carbon Southern Spars mast and boom. A distinctive version that combines good sailing characteristics with a practical layout and a very extensive equipment. Recently, a lot of technical work has been done on the yacht, especially on the exterior. A new Yanmar 29 hp 3-cylinder diesel engine has been installed with only a few running hours. The keel has been completely blasted and rebuilt with 14 layers of epoxy, the hull has been polished and waxed, and the non-slip surfaces on the deck have been sanded and repainted. The cockpit has also been fitted with new teak. The sail wardrobe is very extensive and has hardly been used as a complete set, including UK Sailmakers X-Drive Offshore sails, spinnakers, Code 0, trysail, and storm jib. The interior is functional and solidly executed, but deserves attention in a few areas, providing space for a new owner to finish the yacht according to their own wishes. AccommodationOther: The Dehler 39 SQ features a practical layout with three cabins, a spacious salon, a separate navigation table, and a wet cell with a toilet. The corner kitchen is equipped with two sinks, a gas stove with an integrated oven, and a top-loading refrigerator. A 15-liter boiler is available for hot water, and the Webasto Air Top 5000 hot air heating has been overhauled. The port aft cabin has an extra thick memory foam mattress. The standing height in the salon for this model is approximately 1.97 m. Engine, electrics, waterYear of construction: Engine is new, installed 2026Other: A new Yanmar 29 hp 3-cylinder diesel engine has recently been installed, currently with only about 4 running hours. The engine is equipped with a new throttle, new control cables, and a new RPM display. The saildrive has been overhauled and fitted with a 3-blade propeller. A speed of approximately 6 knots has been measured at 2,400 rpm and approximately 7.3 knots at 3,200 rpm. The electrical installation has also been extensively addressed. The wiring of the electrical backbone has been renewed, including new main switches and fuses. On board, there are three AGM service batteries with a stated total capacity of 600 Ah, a new starter battery, and a Victron Connect shunt for reading the battery status via an app. Additionally, a new Victron EasyPlus 12/1600/70 charger/inverter has been installed, and a new 25-meter shore power cable is included. RiggingJib: UK-De Vries Sails, 1x Jib 3 and 1x Jib 4 from 2019Other: An important feature of this Dehler 39 SQ is the high-quality carbon Southern Spars mast and boom, complemented by two carbon spinnaker poles. The stainless steel rod rigging and Dyneema backstay were renewed in 2017. Winches and blocks are from Harken. The sail wardrobe is particularly extensive and has only been limitedly used as a complete set. Included are a UK Sailmakers X-Drive Offshore mainsail from 2019, Jib 3 and Jib 4 from 2019, a heavy spinnaker, light spinnaker, Code 0, trysail, and storm jib. Additionally, a new anthracite-colored mainsail cover was added in 2026. Furthermore, the yacht is equipped with a Raymarine C120 chart plotter with Navionics, Raymarine ST60 Tridata at the navigation table, and a Raymarine autopilot system with Linear Drive, gyro compass, and ST290 remote control. At the helm, there are two Raymarine ST6001 SeaTalk autopilot controls, of which one is reported to be functioning. Additionally, there is an AIS transponder, Echomax Active XR active radar reflector, fixed Raymarine VHF radio, and Icom handheld VHF radio. The hull has been fully polished and waxed, with local repairs carried out and a new black waterline applied. The non-slip surfaces on the deck have been sanded and repainted, and the cockpit has been fitted with new teak. The steering wheel has been sandblasted and electrostatically powder-coated black and fitted with a black foam grip. The stanchions and scepters have also been renewed, and high-quality stainless steel stanchion bases have been laminated. The keel has been completely blasted and rebuilt with 14 layers of epoxy, optimizing the keel profile. The underwater hull has then been provided with new antifouling. SafetyRadar reflector: Echomax Active XROther: On board, there are both a manual and electric bilge pump, a 6-person liferaft, two fire extinguishers, an EPIRB/MOB system, AIS transponder, and Echomax Active XR active radar reflector.
