FORGUS 31 – CLASSIC SWEDISH QUALITY BOAT WITH EXTENSIVE UPDATES

Presenting the Forgus 31 “Shiba” from 1976 – a solid and well-sailing Swedish-built sailing boat that has undergone a series of important and valuable updates in recent years.

COCKPIT AND DECK
The cockpit is designed with a focus on functionality and comfort. The teak decking in the cockpit is from 2024, and the deck was painted with KiwiGrip that same year to provide a practical and non-slip surface.

The sprayhood and cockpit tent were supplied by Andersen's Boatwear in 2021, offering excellent protection against wind and weather. The boat also includes an anchor with lead chain that was replaced along with its fittings in 2020, an additional anchor, swim ladder, cockpit table, mooring lines, and fenders.

INTERIOR AND COMFORT
Below deck, you will find a classic and functional layout with approximately 189 cm of headroom. The boat is equipped with a refrigerator with compressor, shore power connection, 230-volt socket, and Pioneer radio with CD player.

An oil heater from 2021 allows for an extended sailing season while ensuring a comfortable climate onboard during cooler days.

Additionally, the toilet is an electric model using seawater with direct discharge.

All cushion covers below deck were replaced in 2020.

The hot water tank holds approximately 15–20 liters and can be heated via both 230 volts and the engine's cooling water. The freshwater tank has a capacity of approximately 150 liters.
