Dufour 40 in very good overall condition, with Spanish flag, VAT paid in Spain and ITB valid until June 2028. Boat with only two owners, very well maintained and with significant recent maintenance and improvement work.
Unit with 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms, with a particularly spacious, comfortable, and bright interior. Very practical layout, with a large U-shaped salon to port, longitudinal sofa to starboard, central table with folding wings, complete kitchen, independent chart table, and ample stowage capacity in all areas of the boat.
Fast, stable, and very balanced sailing yacht, with high performance.The high engine power allows for comfortable and fast motor cruising, with speeds exceeding 8 knots in favorable conditions.
Engine and maintenance
Engine Volvo Penta D2-55, 53 hp / 39 kW, with SailDrive transmission and Volvo folding propeller with 3 blades. Approximate hours: 2,450 h. Annual inspections since purchase. Last engine inspection in 2026. SailDrive seals replaced in 2020.
In the 2024 haul-out, bottom stripping, three layers of epoxy, and hard matrix antifouling Hempel were performed. Through-hulls renewed in 2022. Cockpit teak renewed in 2025.
Rigging, sails, and deck
Standing rigging completely replaced in 2023. Selden mast with 2 spreaders, Facnor genoa furler, Rodkicker, and hydraulic backstay Navtec. Renewed running rigging, with Dyneema halyards.
Main sail North Sails 3Di Ocean 330 Nordac from 2022, with 2 reefs. Genoa North Sails 3Di Ocean 330 Nordac from 2022. Jib 3 Amiri Sails from 2023. Gennaker Starvoiles with snuffer from 2018 and spinnaker Elvstrom from 2018. Lazy bag and lazy jack.
Deck equipped with anchor windlass, main anchor with 40 m of 10 mm chain, secondary anchor, fore hatch, anti-rolling cover, bimini, mooring awning, Dufour cockpit table, mooring lines, fenders, and outboard motor bracket.
Solar installation with fixed 150 W panel and EcoSolar regulator, with pre-installation for a second panel.
Hardware
2 self-tailing winches Harken 48 for genoa, 2 self-tailing winches Harken 44 for main, 2 self-tailing winches Harken 40 for halyards, Spinlock stoppers, spinnaker pole, and complete accessories for spinnaker handling.
Electronics and electricity
Electronics Raymarine: VHF Ray 54E, C70 plotter, autopilot, interior repeater, radar, sounder, log, and wind equipment. Windex. Sound system with speakers in salon and cockpit. One of the displays on the chartplotter requires inspection.
Battery charger Cristec 12V/25A, Sure Power isolator, EcoSolar solar controller, 100 Ah engine battery from 2024, two 100 Ah service batteries, and charging alternator on engine.
Comfort and habitability
Complete kitchen with top-opening Isotherm refrigerator, deep double sink, fresh water by pump, seawater by pedal, ENO gas stove with 2 burners and oven, gas alarm, ventilation hatch, and large storage capacity.
Two bathrooms with newly installed electric toilets, shower, electric bilge pump, sink with removable faucet, mirror, hinged hatch, and stowage spaces. Water heater connected to engine and 220 V.
Forward cabin en suite, with double bed, wardrobe, shelves, stowage under bed, overhead hatch, and remote control for the windlass. Two very spacious double aft cabins, with wardrobes, shelves, under-bed storage, and ventilation hatches.

Life raft Viking B SOLAS 8 persons, beacon to be checked, pyrotechnics, light buoy, lifelines, lifebuoy, manual and electric bilge pumps, several fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detector, and 10 life jackets.
