Introducing SV Secret Water—a remarkable Maple Leaf 54 center cockpit pilot house cruiser where every detail is dedicated to delivering uncompromised room, comfort, and off-grid freedom at sea. Designed with a thoughtful layout that appeals to cruising families and adventurous couples alike, this boat features three spacious cabins with comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to six, ensuring that every voyage is a serene retreat amid the vast ocean expanse.
Safety and versatility are woven into its fabric: dual helm stations, both in the cockpit and within the pilothouse, provide seamless command over passages and secure night watches. Whether you’re navigating challenging passages or enjoying leisurely coastal cruises, SV Secret Water stands as a beacon of reliability.
Engineered for modern adventurers, this cruiser boasts robust off-grid capabilities, powered by 975W of solar energy, a trusty 175A DC Kubota Generator, and a 30 GPH water maker to keep you comfortably sustained on long journeys. Imagine setting sail knowing your vessel is self-sufficient, allowing you to traverse remote anchorages with the same ease as popular routes.
After memorable family adventures along the Sea of Cortez, the current custodians have strategically stationed SV Secret Water in the Cabrales boat yard in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. With its proximity—only 1.5 hours south of the US/Mexico border and just 3.5 hours south from Phoenix, Arizona—it’s ideally located to jumpstart an enchanting cruise along the Sea of Cortez and the sprawling Pacific Coast of Mexico.
Elevate your lifestyle further: add a Starlink receiver to enable remote work from one of the countless picturesque anchorages, with connectivity. With SV Secret Water, blending work, life, and adventure has never been easier or more inviting.

Owner's Notes:Secret Water has been the best boat for our family of 5. We sailed fromWashington to Panama to Puerto Penasco 2016-2020. We’re the third owners. Second owner purchased Secret Water in 2005. She’s lived in Vancouver her whole life, except for the last 4 years. We didn’t plan to sell her now, but things have changed for our family and we hope to find her the best new home. Secret Water is a simple boat and can be sailed from the center cockpit or pilothouse. We loved the pilothouse on all night passages, it’s safe and secure.
