This 1997 Hallberg-Rassy HR 46 yacht for sale is a stunning ocean cruiser with a global reputation.Designed by German Frers to be an A-Unlimited Ocean Voyages category makes this HR 46 (Hull #104) sturdy, safe and comfortable for blue water cruising. She has the strength, sea kindliness and performance to produce a comfortable and elegant long range sailing yacht.The HR 46 won yacht of the year in 1996, and the March issue of the German Yacht magazine quoted... "A yacht with the genes to become a classic. "The Hallberg-Rassy 46 also made headlines in the following publications -Yachting World, England, March 1996: "... After a longish day at the Boat Show, it took some time to pry me away. Taking everything into consideration the Hallberg-Rassy 46 got my vote as the boat best-designed and equipped to sail long distances comfortably. "Yachting World, April 1996: 'Swedish builders Hallberg-Rassy have a global reputation when it to comes to setting standards for blue water cruising... Apart from their good manners under sail and power, much of the yachts' reputation is based on the solid build and high quality standard specification - considered by many to be the cruising icon. "From 2020-2023 this HR 46 was completely refurbished at the Head office of Hallberg-Rassy in Ellos, Sweden, by the current owner who was a staff member at Hallberg-Rassy for many years.
