It is designed for coastal cruising and day trips in comfort, and suits family use or outings with friends.The yacht measures 16 metres (52.5 ft) in length with a beam of 4.60 metres, and offers 3 guest cabins plus a separate crew cabin. The yacht sleeps 6 guests plus crew.Technical Characteristics and HandlingIncandescence is powered by twin MAN R6-800 common-rail diesel engines on direct-drive shafts. The engines were rebuilt 500 hours ago and fully serviced in 2026.The yacht cruises at 18 knots (1,000–1,600 rpm) with a maximum speed of 27 knots. Fuel burn at cruise is about 100 litres per 13 nautical miles.Tank capacities are 2,500 litres of fuel, 500 litres of fresh water and 150 litres of holding.The ground tackle is a Delta anchor with 100 m of galvanised chain on a fully rebuilt windlass. Safety equipment includes two automatic bilge pumps, a flood pump and a high-water alarm.A Comprehensive 12-Month Refit, Completed in 2026Incandescence has not had a cosmetic refresh before sale. The yacht has been through a complete stem-to-stern refit, with a before-and-after photo archive and video documentation available to prospective buyers.Major work carried out includes:
Hull and exterior: gelcoat completely replaced and refinished in Awlgrip Snow White, plus Coppercoat antifouling.
Teak: new 12 mm teak decking, cockpit and bathing platform.
Windows: resealed and treated with a premium UV coating.
Electrical system: full rewire, with USB-C PD outlets throughout.
Energy: 30 kWh LiFePO₄ lithium house bank on a Victron Quattro 8000/24 platform with Cerbo GX monitoring, providing silent overnight power.
Generator: Kohler 11 kW with underwater exhaust.
Engines: twin MAN R6-800 rebuilt (500 hours since rebuild), with a 2026 service of filters, seals, impellers and hoses, cleaned intercoolers, synthetic oil and rebuilt exhaust.
Running gear: cutlass bearings replaced, propellers and shafts rebalanced.
Interior: new Snow White fibreglass galley and saloon, new cabinetry, carpets and leather upholstery.
Plumbing: pumps, plumbing and electric toilets renewed.
