The Bertram 31 is considered a legend in boating as it is the first hull from the eponymous American shipyard. Its iconic hull is designed by the brilliant Ray Hunt and is characterized by its deep V-shaped hull (deadrise 23°) both at the bow and stern, thus being able to offer excellent seaworthiness even in adverse weather and sea conditions. Another distinctive element is the longitudinal skids which, on one hand, guarantee greater lift to the volumes, while on the other hand, deflect the spray outward, leaving the hull dry. The boat is made of fiberglass to keep the weight down while still achieving a solid product from a structural point of view. The boat in question is like new as it has undergone a total and meticulous restoration that involved a complete overhaul of the yacht starting from the empty hull.
