Beautiful Storebro, in final stage of extensive refit

This Storebro has undergone an extensive refit and is ready for a 2nd lease of life. Among other things, the following has been renewed or refitted


the stern tube, bow, foredeck, aft deck, additional rafters, dashboard, fuel system, including fuel pump and carburetor, water pump, hoses and pipes, lead-throughs and valves, automatic bilge pump, electrical system, new spray hood and aft tent.

Hull number: The origin of the boat is still under investigation
Other: Possibly this Storebro is one of the rare ships that is equipped with a 6 cylinder engine from new, normally in these ships the marinized Volvo B18 4 cylinder engine was placed.

Other: The Storebro has a modern layout that can also be found on many contemporary ships; large open cockpit, fixed rear bench, folding table, on B.C. a combination sink / cooking facility, engine box, on B.C. bench at the steering for 2 persons, on SB storage cabinet and in the front a cozy sleeping place for 2 people. many storage options under the benches.


The ship has a completely new spray hood and rear tent with new stainless steel frames, this is immediately brought the headroom to 190 cm.

Other: The gasoline engine has the unjustified reputation in Europe of being a fire hazard. however, across the pond, 85% of boats sail with a gasoline engine!


On this boat the entire fuel system, i.e. tank, fuel hose, filter, fuel pump and carburetor has been renewed or overhauled.


The electrics have also been completely renewed.


There is also a spark-free fan installed that ventilates the engine room for starting. in addition, the boat is equipped with 2 fire extinguishers
