With the SLX54, Super Lauwersmeer brings all the expertise of more than 50 years of yacht building history to the table. “During trade shows, conversations with customers, and by paying close attention to trends in the yachting world, the idea for a new top model from Super Lauwersmeer emerged. With the SLX54, we are launching a revolutionary yacht that is free from compromises,” says Louis Jousma, who, along with his brother Bastiaan and yacht architect Arnold de Ruyter, worked on the yacht.
Normally, customers weigh the choice between a aft cabin (AC) or open cockpit (OC). This automatically also determines the choice between steering inside or outside. And between being close to the water (open cockpit) or sitting on top of the aft cabin. With the SLX54, we offer both worlds in one ship. Add to that the fact that this ship is built from steel but is still capable of relatively fast sailing, and you understand that all traditional compromises are a thing of the past.
