The development of the 64’ yacht by Amel, was a big step forward. A large volume, and more conventional style boat with very attractive lines. She remained true to Henri Amels commitment to the ketch rig, and the Amel DNA of a strong and solid ocean sailing boat. With a truly protected helm, a quite remarkable dinghy garage and a really beautiful and generous old school layout. These boats are very well proven. Amadou II is in very good condition. She is professionally cared for and the owner is a very experienced yachtsman. Inspection is most recommended.
Two double berth state room cabins with ensuite electric toilet and shower. One twin berth cabin with adjacent electric toilet, shower and laundry with MIELE washer/dryer. Spacious saloon with separate lounge and dining areas. Dining area convertible to provide additional double berth. Comfortable navigation station with large chart table, multiple instrument displays and switchboard. Luxury leather upholstery in saloon (including nav station) and on helm seat. Fitted mattress protectors and sheets for all berths. Natural teak flooring throughout.
Spacious galley with MIELE gimballed 4-burner gas hob, MIELE electric oven, MIELE 800W microwave oven/grill, MIELE dishwasher, fresh water hot & cold and drinking water from SEAGULL filter, NESPRESSO coffee maker, FRIGOBOAT upright stainless steel refrigerator (180L) / freezer (130L), extra chest refrigerator/freezer (130L) under dining area seat.
Cockpit: Spacious centre cockpit and helm station with carbon composite wheel, protected by hard top dodger/wheelhouse and full length hard top roof. Comfortable seating for 6 or more round the table. Cockpit can be fully enclosed by weatherproof screens or insect screens. Sail controls are power operated from within cockpit.
Anchoring/Ground Tackle: 2x LEWMAR 24V electric windlasses with remote control, Main anchor LEWMAR 52kg galvanized with 120m of 12mm stainless steel chain, Second anchor WASI 42kg with 50m of 12mm galvanised chain.
Awnings/Covers: Factory hard cover (transparent) and a separate insect net for the cockpit. + aftermarket shades for the cockpit and aft area.
Boarding and swim platform: Transom hinges down hydraulically to form spacious and secure platform for boarding from tender and/or water toys and for swimming via carbon ladder. Hot and cold shower
Tender: 3D TENDER 3.3m RIB with outboard engine MARINER 5HP 4-stroke, with stowage of both (engine remains mounted on tender) in garage. Ample space and clearance for larger outboard engine if desired. Quick and easy single-handed launch and recovery across purpose-designed rollers on swim platform, using electric winch with remote control.
Passerelle: OPACMARE hydraulic passerelle with remote control – retracts entirely inside the hull.
Batteries: Main bank of 8 x 160Ah 12V MASTERVOLT batteries providing 24V DC power for the house system, navigation instruments and lights, hydraulic systems, winches, transom dinghy garage and stern thruster, and 220-240V AC (via 5000W inverter) for power outlet sockets and microwave oven.
Forward bank of 2 x 200Ah 12V MASTERVOLT batteries providing 24V power for bow thruster, headsail furlers and windlasses. 2 x 90 Ah 12V batteries for engine start and generator start respectively.
Charging:
• 2 x 100A MASTERVOLT charger for main bank when generator running
• 60A MASTERVOLT charger for main bank when using shore power
• 60A MASTERVOLT charger for forward bank
• Alternator on engine charges batteries when running
• Trickle chargers for start batteries when engine and/or generator not running
