In 1978, Mainship launched its first 34 Trawler, which created a class of boats all its own. Twenty-Six years later, Mainship launches another 34 Trawler. Based on the same premise of economic, comfortable cruising at highly affordable prices, this boat will be sure to capture the heart of serious cruisers worldwide. Mainship engineers and designers have utilized every available space in the boat to offer a centerline queen berth master stateroom, full head with stall shower and a salon large enough to entertain in. The galley includes a two-burner range, microwave oven, coffee maker and dual-voltage refrigerator and freezer. Countertops are genuine Corian and all hardware and fixtures are first-class. The covered aft deck includes molded steps to the bridge for safe and easy access. The upper helm station carries full instrumentation, and there is plenty of room for electronics as well. An optional lower station is available as well. The proven hull design is easily driven by the standard single diesel or by twins. A full sand shoe protects the single screw model, while twin screws are recessed into efficient tunnels for shallow water operation. AccommodationsThe master stateroom is forward and features a walk around queen bed with an innerspring mattress and large drawers underneath. The aft end of the bed is hinged so when lifted there is access to top loading cedar lined bins. Large cedar hanging lockers provide additional storage. A flat screen TV on the aft bulkhead is easy to watch while in sofa'. An overhead hatch with screen or shade provides ventilation along with opening ports. The large head compartment is aft to starboard and features a completely enclosed stall shower with seat. The U-shaped galley is down to port with plenty of storage in drawers and lockers. Up two steps is the full width salon with lower helm to starboard and a large breakfast counter opposite with two stools which allows two people to eat there if desired. Two designer chairs and an easily moved hi lo table to starboard provide dining for four when brought closer to the armless couch which is to port. The couch can be converted to a double berth if need be. A built-in frigo is all the way aft in the salon. The entire salon has a teak and holly flooring by Everwear which is attractive and easy to maintain. Sliding glass windows open on both sides of the cabin for cross ventilation in addition to a starboard door adjacent to the helm station and an opening center windshield. Rugged double doors provide access to the cockpit with screen doors to keep insects out. All side windows have high quality wooden blinds which open and close when needed. Beautiful cherry joiner work abounds throughout the interior.GalleyThe U-shaped galley is down two steps from the salon but not too far removed for the cook to converse with others in the salon. The forward Corian countertop is home to a two burner electric cook top, coffeemaker and toaster. Underneath there are numerous drawers and lockers and outboard is a convenient trash compartment. The aft counter area has modern Vitrifrigo refrigeration and freezer drawers made of stainless steel, a large, deep sink, and more storage cabinets above and below. A large,dry compartment in the floor can be used for canned goods. A GFIC outlet is installed in the galley for 220 Volt aplliances. Hot and cold pressure water is standard with a dockside hookup outside.Lower helm stationThe lower station is to starboard with a convenient door for quick access to the sidedeck. It includes Glendenning electronic controls, full engine instrumentaion, Danforth compass, Sidepower toggle type bow thruster controls, trim tabs and a beautiful wooden steering wheel. Lower station electronics are all Raymarine st 60, GPS Geonav 6' color chart plotter, ST 8000 autopilot, and VHF radio.
