More than $45k has been invested in upgrades between 2023 and 2025. Improvements include 800 watts of solar, a 600 amp hour AGM house bank, a new inverter and MPPT controller, a portable generator, a fully serviced Yanmar 4JH3E, a portable watermaker, updated plumbing, and refreshed hoses and filters. Deck and tender upgrades include a Rocna anchor with 200 feet of chain, custom davits, a 2024 Highfield RIB with a Yamaha 15 hp outboard, new canvas, cockpit cushions, and LED lighting. Interior updates include LED lighting, fans, and general outfitting for comfortable long-term living. Regular haul-outs, fresh bottom paint, and ongoing cruiser-standard maintenance have kept the boat in solid condition.

For the current owners, Pyrat Soul II has been much more than a vessel. She has been a warm, safe floating home that raised their daughter and carried the family through memorable passages, quiet anchorages, and long stretches of off-grid living.

We were drawn to the Hunter 410 because of its reputation for comfort, safety, and real offshore capability, but Pyrat Soul II had something more — a feeling of warmth and possibility.

Her two-cabin, two-head layout gave our family space to live together comfortably.

Her big, bright salon became our dining room, reading corner, and homeschool classroom.
