The Columbia 36 is a solidly constructed production cruiser featuring fiberglass construction throughout with a swept-back fin keel, transom stern, and balanced spade rudder.
The hull-to-deck joint utilizes an overlapping mechanically fastened design reinforced with an aluminum beam shelf. Bronze through-hulls are regularly inspected and exercised, windows have been resealed, keel bolts were inspected and re-torqued in December 2025, and there are no reported soft spots in the deck.
The vessel was repainted with gelcoat in 2023 and received fresh bottom paint in December 2025.Engine & Mechanical
Power comes from a dependable 1992 Perkins Perama M30 three-cylinder diesel producing 30 horsepower.
