DUFOUR 37 - AVAILABLE TO ORDERThe Dufour 37 is the entry point into the Dufour range, combining genuine sailing performance, impressive interior volume and an exceptionally easy-to-manage sail plan in a yacht designed for family cruising, weekends away and longer coastal adventures.Designed by renowned naval architect Umberto Felci, the Dufour 37 features a low wetted-surface hull, precise single-rudder steering and twin helm stations, delivering a responsive and enjoyable sailing experience while remaining approachable and easy to handle.Short-handed sailing is at the heart of the Dufour 37. The standard Easy configuration includes a full-batten Elvstrøm Dacron mainsail, self-tacking jib on furler, self-tacking track, single-line reefing led aft to the coachroof, two coachroof winches, lazy bag and lazy jacks. This arrangement keeps everyday sailing simple, with the self-tacking jib making manoeuvring particularly easy when sailing as a couple or with reduced crew.For owners wanting even simpler mainsail handling, the Dufour 37 can also be ordered with an in-mast furling mainsail system, allowing the mainsail to be deployed and furled directly from the cockpit. A B&G autopilot, bow thruster and comprehensive navigation packages can also be selected to further simplify short-handed cruising.The Dufour 37 can be configured around different sailing styles through Dufour's Easy, Ocean and Performance specifications.The Easy Pack - Included provides the essential sailing configuration, including the standard mast, Elvstrøm Dacron full-batten mainsail and self-tacking jib, self-tacking system, single-line reefing, lazy bag and lazy jacks, coachroof winches, fixed bowsprit and electric anchor windlass.The Ocean Pack - Optional develops the yacht into a more versatile cruising configuration with two additional Harken T40 coaming winches, a Dacron genoa replacing the self-tacking jib, genoa adjustment system, German mainsheet system and asymmetric spinnaker / Code 0 running rigging.For sailors looking for additional performance, the Performance Pack - Optional and requiring the Ocean Pack adds a larger Offshore Elvstrøm EKKO mainsail and 108% genoa, extended boom, upgraded deck hardware, cockpit mainsheet arrangement and adjustable textile backstay.A wide selection of individual sail options is also available, including upgraded Elvstrøm EKKO Offshore sails, self-tacking jib configurations and an Elvstrøm Code 0 with furling system.Below deck, the Dufour 37 offers remarkable volume and natural light for a yacht of this size. It is available in either a two-cabin layout with a large head and additional exterior storage, or a three-cabin, one-head layout.
