Well-maintained Bavaria 40 Ocean from 2001 is for sale for those seeking a boat with maximum living comfort and enjoyable sailing in both the archipelago and the open seas.

The Bavaria 40 Ocean features a center cockpit based on the Bavaria 40 hull and was manufactured until 2002-2003. The boat is solidly constructed with hand-laid sandwich laminate reinforced with Kevlar in the bow, certified by Lloyds. It has safe handling characteristics at sea and is easy to manage thanks to roller furling sails and a bow thruster. Below deck, the boat is remarkably spacious. At the stern, there is an aft cabin that benefits from the center cockpit, providing standing height and impressive volume. Moving forward, there is a generously sized L-shaped galley to port and a toilet with a separate shower to starboard. The salon consists of an L-shaped sofa to port and a straight sofa to starboard, with a table in between. Forward of the salon is the spacious forward cabin featuring a double berth and wardrobe.

After winter service but prior to launch, the boat was inspected on land. It is currently on land in a heated hall, ready for winter 2026/2027, making it easy to view.

Always stored indoors at the same yard in Orust, cared for by skilled professionals since it was purchased new by the current owner. Båtagent has not had the opportunity to go through the equipment detail by detail; while the information provided is expected to be accurate, it cannot be guaranteed by Båtagent.

The seller retains the right to choose who will acquire the boat regardless of incoming offers.
