The Bavaria 44-3 is a sailing yacht from 2002, built by Bavaria Yachtbau to a design by J&J Design. The ship has a length of 13.95 meters, a width of 4.25 meters, and a draft of 1.95 meters. The hull is made of fiberglass with a round bilge shape and is equipped with a lead keel. The water displacement is approximately 12 tons with a ballast of about 3500 kg.
The yacht is yard-finished and fitted with mahogany paneling. The deck, superstructure, and cockpit table are made of solid teak with a thickness of 11 mm. The air draft is approximately 20 meters. Inside, the ship offers four cabins including a salon and a total of six sleeping places. The standing height varies from about 1.90 meters in the aft cabin to approximately 2.00 meters in the salon. The windows are made of perspex and the steering is done via a steering wheel.
The engine consists of a Volvo Penta D2-55 from 2002 with a power of 55 hp (40 kW).
