A beautifully preserved example of the iconic Fairey Swordsman 33, this 1973 gentleman’s motor yacht represents the very best of British craftsmanship. Designed by Alan Burnard and built by Fairey Marine Ltd (Southampton), the Swordsman series is renowned for its exceptional seakeeping, deep‑V hull, and timeless lines. This Fairey Swordsman 33 combines classic styling with exhilarating performance. Powered by twin Perkins Sabre 225 hp diesel engines, she delivers a confident 28‑knot top speed and the legendary Fairey ride quality. The engines were installed around 1997 and show only approx. 900 hours, making this a rare low‑hour example.
Her laminated mahogany hull, cured under vacuum in an oven, reflects Fairey Marine’s aviation‑inspired construction techniques — strong, lightweight, and built to handle offshore conditions. The wide side decks, flare bow, and deep‑V hull give her superb seakeeping and dry running.
The cockpit layout is practical and social, with teak flooring and a clean, classic helm. A stainless‑steel framed cabrio cover provides protection when needed.
