Med'in Boats presents this superb Swan 40 completely refitted in 2019.
Named OLIVIA, this boat has been owned by its current owner for 5 years now. Previously, it had 2 owners: the first for 16 years in England and the second for 8 years in the Balearic Islands. The current owner purchased it in the Balearic Islands in 2018 and conducted a complete refit in 2019.
Refit works include a new teak deck and cockpit, new standing and running rigging, new sails (main, genoa, code 0, and gennaker), a new carbon bowsprit, a new watermaker, a new propeller and propeller shaft, complete new Raymarine electronics, a new sunbrella bimini and sprayhood, new portholes, mast taken down and repainted. The engine was replaced in 2020 with a Yanmar 4JH57 with 500 hours.
Since the refit, the owner has been living on the boat and regularly maintains it. He has covered many miles with it: summers in the Mediterranean, winters in the Canary Islands, and crossed the Atlantic in the winter of 2022. This Swan 40 is an exceptional boat and is ready to sail around the world or participate in races with outstanding performance.
