Originally built by the respected Dutch shipyard Scheepswerf Gebr. van der Werf, CHAKRA was converted into a luxury motor yacht in 1998 at the highly regarded Devonport Shipyard in the United Kingdom. Today, she is a successful charter yacht, capturing the elegance of a bygone era while benefiting from Devonport’s robust construction standards and extensive reengineering during her transformation into a superyacht.
Since then, she has gone from strength to strength with extensive refits through to today which have ensured she stays among the most desirable charter yachts. With amenities such as expansive deck spaces with Jacuzzi, elevator, wellness center, massage room, gymnasium, theater and beauty salon, she is well suited for all types of use profile.
An elevator serves every deck onboard allowing convenient access to all amenities for all age groups and thanks to her expansive decks capable of hosting up to 250 guests in port and 100 at anchor, she is ideally suited for multi-generational families and corporate events

2024 / 2025 The yacht has benefitted from a comprehensive programme of maintenance and refurbishment, covering exterior finishes, interior spaces, and all principal onboard systems.
Exterior paintwork was restored using nanotechnology and protected with a ceramic coating, while all exterior Iroko wood surfaces were fully refurbished, ensuring a refined appearance and long-term watertight integrity.
Deck areas and equipment were overhauled and serviced throughout, with key exterior amenities refreshed, including the bridge deck jacuzzi.
Interior guest areas were upgraded with new fabrics, carpets, upholstery, and mattresses, supported by deep biological cleaning to maintain a high standard of comfort and presentation.
The engine room and technical spaces received extensive servicing, including main machinery, generators, propulsion and hydraulic systems, with reliability-focused upgrades carried out where required.
Hotel, communication, and operational systems were updated and serviced to meet current expectations, reinforcing the yacht’s readiness for both private use and charter.
