The Vessel is a new build modern polar expedition cruise ship designed to operate on international voyages and in harsh environments of the world’s Polar Regions. A sister ship was delivered and has been operating since 2019. The ship is 90% completed and there is an opportunity for a new owner to customize final specifications and finishes.
The Vessel is environmentally friendly to be as protective as possible of the most unspoiled places on the planet. The ship uses LED lighting systems, steam heating plants, waste heat recovery, biodegradable paints and lubricants and state-of-the-art power management systems to keep fuel consumption and CO2 levels to the absolute minimum. Efficient control systems for lights and other electrical equipment are installed in order to reach low electrical consumption and low heat dissipation.
The Vessel is Lloyds Register Class and has Polar category B. Operational area is Arctic, East and west Greenland, Antarctic peninsula. Highest expected latitude of operation is Arctic without limits (North Pole) and Antarctic 78 degrees South.
The vessel is arranged for maximum number of 194 passengers and 72 crew members, i.e. maximum of 266 persons on board.
Ship offers comfortable four-star accommodations for passengers in 80 suites and cabins within eight different categories, featuring plenty of nautical textures and colors, and options for twin, triple and quadruple occupancy. All cabins feature private bathrooms with showers; flat-screen televisions; hair dryers; closets and storage space; sitting areas; and Wi-Fi access.
