DescriptionBeau Brummel is a 45 foot traditional stern narrow boat built by John South in 1986. She is powered by a raw water cooled Vetus M4 marine diesel engine with recently replaced drive plate and Hurth 100 gearbox. Layout from the stern comprises of engine room with boxed in engine which also houses all the electrical components relating to the boat. Upon entering the main cabin is the bedroom with double bed with ample storage. Forward of this is the shower room with shower tray, Mansfield Traveller pump out toilet and wash basin. Following this is the galley with sink/drainer and ample work top and storage space. There is space for a gas cooker and 12v under counter fridge, but these items are not present or included with the sale. At the front of the cabin is a spacious saloon with Villager Heron solid fuel stove and back boiler. Doors lead out on to the front well deck which is covered by a glazed cratch and cover. Beau Brummel is a project boat – it requires internal works to make it useable, and we understand that the hull also requires remedial works. She starts and runs and came to Norbury under her own power. With some serious love and attention she could be returned to her former glory for her new owners to enjoy cruising our inland waterways.
