The Bahama 42 is anything but conservative; this boat truly makes an impression as it enters the harbor. The design is neither extreme nor flamboyant; it’s the small details that make it special. You can't quite put your finger on it, but you know you’re looking at something extraordinary.
This specific Skorgenes Bahama 42 has been custom-built for the current owner and deviates significantly from our standard offerings, particularly in terms of technology. This is quite a unique aspect in the fiberglass yacht construction industry, but we can do it! The owner had no desire for a very fast yacht, but rather one that has the looks of one.
Thus, this Skorgenes Bahama 42 is equipped with two economical and especially very quiet (61 dBA at full throttle!) 110 HP Yanmar engines. The vessel has the handling characteristics of a "displacement" hull, reaching speeds between 16 and 19 km/h depending on conditions. However, it is primarily a cruiser, especially considering the tranquility on board. Moreover, this boat maneuvers excellently, even without a bow thruster. Compared to other fiberglass twin-screw vessels, this Bahama 42 is a pleasure to maneuver.
Furthermore, this Bahama 42 features a very modern and light interior that is spacious and equipped with many comfortable amenities, including: A generous kitchen divided into two zones, one directly behind the fully opening door to the aft deck, with one of the refrigerators within easy reach of guests on the aft deck. The aft deck itself is fitted with an open roof for those who want to enjoy the sun. In the longitudinal section of the kitchen, you will find double sinks, a cooking appliance, pop-up HD TV, and under the helm seat a generous second refrigerator that can also freeze. All cabinets and drawers are equipped with soft-close mechanisms and sturdy hinges; some wardrobes also include LED lighting. Sitting side by side on the helm seat allows you to enjoy the sun through the enormous electric sliding roof!
The seating area offers comfort and a good view and features an additional "relax" chair with an adjustable backrest. Naturally, the boat is equipped with a central vacuum system.

There is also a guest cabin with a generous double bed as well as an electrically adjustable relax bed. The entire boat is fitted with LED light strips and spotlights, some of which are dimmable.
This Skorgenes Bahama 42 features light oak (mostly solid and handcrafted), oak flooring inside, teak in the cockpit and swim platform. The latter is equipped with an outdoor shower and on the starboard side a ladder leading to the starboard walkway. In short, this boat must be seen!
During the construction of this vessel, health circumstances changed significantly for one of the owners (a couple), making it very difficult—if not impossible—to stay on this boat in the near future; thus they are regrettably forced to sell it without having enjoyed it.
