Probably the most renowned in the range, the Outremer 51 has proven itself and crosses all the seas of the globe with disconcerting ease. With an increased loading capacity compared to the 45, this flagship family sailboat of the Outremer range, twice awarded "European Yacht of the Year" and "Boat of the Year," is the essential reference in cruising catamarans.
Here in owner version, meaning 3 cabins, it is a true world tour catamaran that is powerful and maneuverable, with unmatched robustness, having proven itself on all seas and in all circumstances.
A first-hand boat, it was delivered to its first and current owner in April 2019. The first four years were dedicated to Mediterranean cruises, with maintenance fully ensured by our Outremer shipyard during this period.
In 2024, it set sail from Europe to the Caribbean Sea via the Panama Canal, before heading to French Polynesia through the Pacific Islands, ultimately anchoring in New Zealand, completing a journey of 25,000 miles without incident.
During this period, the boat was carefully maneuvered and meticulously maintained, with custom improvements in areas specifically intended for cruising and life on board.
Under shipyard warranty, managed by our workshops in La Grande Motte, the aluminum mast was replaced (anodization issue), and preemptively, the shrouds and stays were renewed in 2025.
The Hydranet Incidence sail set, which includes a self-tacking jib, mainsail, code D, code O, and gennaker, is complete for offshore crossings.
Since its arrival in New Zealand, the boat has been taken out of the water for regular maintenance and is ready for its next adventure.
