he Pair of Twins 38 is a catamaran designed by Harm Veenema (Netherlands), with a flat hull developed with Professor Gerritsma (Delft Test Basin), offering good upwind performance. Its Airex-PVC sandwich construction makes it unsinkable. The interior offers 5 berths, a kitchen with counter and a spacious navigation area. It is powered by a VW turbo-diesel engine driving two separately retractable and manoeuvrable Z-Drives.

The owners tested the boat during an Atlantic crossing (the Netherlands → Canary Islands → the Azores → Spain → France), with good speeds even in light winds (often over 10 knots, peaking at 18 knots), thanks in particular to the spinnaker and the roll-up Code 0. A 400 W solar system ensures electrical autonomy. Its design (flat hulls, rudders protected by skegs) also makes it suitable for grounding.

This catamaran was their first boat; they are now selling it to upgrade to a larger model for a longer family trip.
