For many years the flagship of Greig City Academy's award-winning offshore sail training programme.
SCARAMOUCHE is far more than a classic offshore racing yacht. Designed by Germán Frers and built by Palmer Johnson (USA) for the United States' 1981 Admiral's Cup campaign, she was created to compete at the highest level of international offshore racing and has continued to fulfil that purpose throughout her life.
During her ownership by Greig City Academy, SCARAMOUCHE has remained an active offshore yacht, successfully completing the Rolex Fastnet Race in 2017 and 2019 before continuing in regular offshore sail training, coastal passages and racing. Most recently, she completed a successful Southampton to Alderney return passage before taking part in the 2026 Round the Island Race only days before being offered for sale, demonstrating that she remains exactly what she was designed to be: a capable and actively sailed offshore yacht.
