Design
The M&M 65 represents the best in performance cruising catamarans. A product of the Morrelli & Melvin Design & Engineering design office, GIZMO was custom designed for fast, worldwide cruising. All systems were designed to be as light and efficient as possible, with low maintenance. Morrelli & Melvin's uniquely shaped wave-piercing reverseBows, high bridgedeck clearance, and complementary underbody save weight and windage but also reduce pitching motions to ensure comfortable and fast cruising. A powerful sail plan provides GIZMO with top speeds up to 30+ knots.

Layout and Accommodations
4 Double staterooms in hulls, each ensuite with custom carbon fiber electric toilets, washing basin, stainless steelcountertops and stand-up shower.
Port Forward Bow Compartment: houses a Crew cabin / sail storage with WC and washing basin, 2 pipe bunkshammock style.
Starboard Forward Compartment: houses a workshop and added storage.
Salon: large dinette is forward to port, with storage underneath. A second settee occupies the aft starboard corner.

Navigation: A large, elevated, well-equipped navigation area faces forward to Starboard.

Galley: to starboard, aft in the salon. Equipped with: - 2 x refrigerators 2 x drawer deep freezers 1 x Large chest deep freeze Force 10 stove, Double sink, stainless steel topsA bar with 3 swing-away bar stools and an elevated lunch area with storage under.

Lightning Protection
This vessel has a sophisticated, robust lightning protection system from Lightning Protection, Inc. Installed at time of build. Proof of concept: The vessel was struck by lightning in 2019. A subsequently thorough survey, with meticulousNon-destructive testing of hull and rig, found no damage resulting from the strike.
