FANATIC Sailing Team,
was born as a sports group in 2018 from the idea of some members of the Triestina Sport Del Mare sailing club, to create a group of semi-professional and amateur athletes, to start a long-term project of important regattas and also of international level.2018 was a year of testing and study for the FANATIC Sailing Team, where the crew had just begun to get to know each other and bondbeing a mixed group of athletes coming from Trieste, Udine, and Grado, and despite this, we had a season with very good results. But it is in this year 2019 that the TEAM had a truly exceptional season, starting by winning the COPPA PRIMAVERA of Muggia, 1st place Trieste S.Giovanni in Pelago Trieste, 1st place Trofeo 2 Fari, 1st place at Graesana (Grado), 2nd place Trofeo C.R.A.L. Insiel, 2nd place Finozzi trophy, 2nd place Trofeo 2 Castelli, 2nd category Trofeo Bernetti, and to finish: 5th overall, 1st category, and 1st Italian crew all F.V.G. at the finish line of the largest sailing event in the world, the BARCOLANA 51.
