Fauroux 50 unique, built in 2008 by the Fauroux shipyard, a true one-off combining performance, safety, and exceptional construction quality. This yacht was designed with deliberately oversized rigging, ensuring maximum reliability in offshore sailing as well as in racing.
The sandwich infusion construction with glass/Airex, combined with a carbon mast and boom, gives the boat rigidity, lightness, and remarkable performance. The hull was completely repainted 2 years ago, and maintenance is followed with a rigorous annual preventive maintenance.
The sail plan is particularly comprehensive and performance-oriented: racing mainsail, two racing spinnakers (one very recent ~15 hours, one about 1 year old), code 0 and asymmetrical spinnaker. The cruising mainsail is to be expected, only due to the owner's lack of time.
