About
XO is a superb IMX 45 designed by X-Yachts and naval architect Niels Jeppesen. This sailboat perfectly combines performance and comfort. Ideal for IRC racing, it was meticulously renovated in 2025 after more than 7 years without sailing. It also has a very good IRC rating. Its design and equipment also make it an excellent choice for fast cruising and ocean sailing.
The interior of XO was completely renovated in 2025. It is both simple, spacious, and functional, accommodating up to 8 people. It features a comfortable salon, a large chart table on the port side, and a U-shaped galley on the starboard side with a double sink, a new gas stove, and a fridge. The woodwork has been renovated and then varnished or painted white to bring more brightness to the interior.
The layout includes three cabins, one forward cabin with a double bed, two aft cabins, each with a double bed and a bunk bed, as well as additional sleeping options in the salon. The salon table easily accommodates 8 people. A bathroom, with a renovated shower and toilet, is located at the front of the salon on the starboard side.
The mast, boom, and spinnaker pole are made of carbon, and the standing rigging is made of rod. The latter was replaced in 2018 and has not covered more than a hundred miles since then. The mast jack was renovated in 2025. The boat's wardrobe consists of 2 mainsails (1 Dacron that has only been used for one day and 1 older fiber sail), 4 genoas (1 very clean on snap hooks and 3 others on luff tape and therefore not currently usable on the boat), 1 solent (also on luff tape), and finally 3 spinnakers in very good condition, including 1 asymmetric.
The electronics are original but checked and functional. It will likely need to be upgraded depending on the future owner's program. The boat currently does not have a windlass, but it is possible to add one, which could be part of the negotiations on price and desired additional services.
