J Boats J92 from 1998, a performance cruiser-racer widely appreciated for its speed, responsiveness and versatility. This model is well known for delivering strong sailing performance while remaining accessible and easy to handle.

The boat has been regularly maintained and is fully operational for coastal racing. The hull is professionally maintained every year with sanding and racing antifouling application. Last treatment was completed in August 2024 and the hull is regularly cleaned by diving.

The Yanmar 1GM10 engine was replaced in 2023 with a fully refurbished unit. The gearbox control was replaced in 2019 and the engine was serviced in 2025. Documentation and invoices are available.

Deck equipment is performance oriented and includes a retractable carbon bowsprit, aluminium spinnaker pole, four Harken self-tailing winches and Spinlock deck hardware. The anchoring system includes a 10 kg anchor with chain and rode.

The running rigging has been fully upgraded to Dyneema between 2018 and 2019 and is regularly maintained with recent updates including backstay system, vang and clutches. The standing rigging has been partially renewed with a forestay replaced in 2016.

The sail inventory is extensive and suitable for both racing and cruising. The boat is equipped with a Dacron mainsail currently rigged in its lazy bag, making it ideal for deliveries and cruising. Additional sails include a 2018 racing genoa, multiple overlapping genoas, a kevlar solent, symmetric spinnaker and asymmetric A3 spinnaker.

Navigation equipment includes Raymarine EV-100 autopilot with remote control, Tacktick instruments (log, depth and displays), SeaTalk NG network and active GPS antenna. A fixed VHF is also installed onboard.

The electrical system includes shore power charger, alternator charge distributor, recent electrical panel, engine battery and service battery. Interior and navigation lights have been converted to LED.

The interior layout is simple and functional with fresh water system (refitted in 2024), aft berths under cockpit, removable saloon table and marine toilet.

Safety equipment includes a Plastimo 4-person liferaft and standard coastal safety gear.
