The CNB Fano shipyard gained prominence for building yachts designed by world-renowned naval architects, most notably Bruce Farr and Nauta Design. It specialised in "performance cruisers"—vessels that combined the speed of racing hulls with luxury interior styling.In the mid-1990s, the facility underwent a significant change in leadership. Architect and project manager Maurizio Testuzza took over the CNB Fano shipyard in 1995 after working on high-profile projects like the Moro di Venezia.The Fano facility eventually evolved into Adriasail, a yard founded by Testuzza that continued the tradition of high-tech, custom boat building in the region. Today, boats built at the CNB Fano yard are highly regarded on the brokerage market for their "Italian styling" and advanced composite construction.
