This very well maintained Rival 34 "Windjammer" from 1978 is a beautiful example of the solid British yacht construction for which the Rival series is known worldwide. Built under Lloyds Register (LR Certification 100A1). This robust and seaworthy design by Peter Brett offers safety, comfort, and reliability for both coastal waters and longer sea voyages. This Rival has mainly sailed in Dutch waters. It has been located in Hoorn until 2023 and will be in the Marina Seaport IJmuiden from 2024.

The current owner has significantly invested in maintenance and renewal in recent years. The boat is equipped with a well-maintained Bukh DV20 hp diesel engine, a reliable power source known for its simplicity and durability. The sail wardrobe has been recently renewed with new sails, mainsail North Sails Dacron from 2024, with a loose foot and in 2025 a genoa North Sails Dacron. A new feathering propeller, brand Featherstream three-blade "16" has also been installed in 2024, allowing the ship to perform optimally under sail.
