Gozzard 36E Bluewater Cruiser | Fully Refit and Ready for Passage
INNISFREE is a Canadian-built Gozzard 36E designed for safe bluewater sailing and comfortable living aboard. Currently lying in Licata, Sicily, she offers a stable and capable platform for Mediterranean cruising and longer offshore passages. Her cutter rig, classic profile and efficient interior suit a cruising couple seeking strength, comfort and ease of handling.
A comprehensive refit in 2021 transformed the yacht and renewed all major systems. Key upgrades included a Beta 50 engine, new standing and running rigging, diesel hydronic heating and a complete electrical overhaul. In addition, she carries 400Ah of lithium batteries, approximately 850W of solar power and a full Victron energy management system. Consequently, she delivers excellent energy independence away from shore power.
Her sail plan supports safe and efficient short-handed sailing. She carries a 2023 Yankee, self-tacking staysail, asymmetric spinnaker and storm sails. Furthermore, all lines lead aft to the cockpit, making sail handling straightforward in changing conditions. A mainsheet arch, substantial davits and a full cockpit enclosure add comfort and protection at sea.
Below deck, the interior feels warm, bright and practical. The layout includes a large aft berth, a convertible forward saloon berth, a U-shaped galley with dinette and a dedicated navigation station. Meanwhile, the heads compartment benefits from a separate shower, providing additional comfort during extended cruising.
Navigation equipment is equally impressive. The yacht features B&G Zeus displays, radar, AIS, Iridium GO!, dual autopilots and full NMEA 2000 integration. Together, these systems provide excellent situational awareness and reliable passage-making capability.
INNISFREE also includes a Highfield UL260 dinghy, Suzuki 6hp outboard, 2024 Torqeedo electric outboard, 50L per hour watermaker and offshore safety equipment. As a result, she offers an exceptionally well-equipped package for independent cruising.
Currently located in Licata, Sicily, INNISFREE presents a rare opportunity to acquire a proven Gozzard 36E that is already prepared for Mediterranean cruising and future offshore adventures.
