This Kaufman 49, built in 1988 and owned by her current owner since new,
is a highly respected blue-water cruising sailing yacht designed by F. Michael Kaufman & Robert Ladd and built by the renowned Ta Chiao yard in Taiwan.
Often referred to as the “Taiwan Swan”, she is widely appreciated among offshore sailors for her strength, seaworthiness and long-distance passage-making capability.
Built as a true ocean-going yacht, she features a robust heavy GRP hull, balsa-cored deck construction and a reliable cutter rig, offering exceptional balance and control in all sea conditions.
