Designed by naval architect Alain Jézéquel and shaped by the famous Cantiere del Pardo shipyard, the Grand Soleil 35 embodies the golden age of Italian shipbuilding. At the heart of its update is a new Volvo Penta D1-30F engine from 2024 that lasts for a total of 475 hours and is monitored by meticulous revisions. Autonomy on long cruises is ensured by a Katadyn 40E desalinizer, an MPI stainless steel gantry with davits, a solar panel, a revised wind turbine and a 200-liter fresh water tank.

In

terms of navigation and safety, the ship benefits from a triple redundancy of autopilots including an inboard jack on the steering sector, a wheel-to-wheel system and a tiller pilot. Its efficient sail plan includes a North Sails 3Di Nordac Mainsail, a Solent Crosscut and a Code D. Finally, the structure has been the subject of impeccable maintenance with the replacement of all the passes and valves in 2024, an epoxy treatment of the keel in 2024, an epoxy treatment of the keel in 2024 and a recent fairing carried out in February 2026.
