SWISS CAT 55'

CAP MED BOAT & YACHT CONSULTING is pleased to present for sale the Swiss 55 catamaran, a new semi-custom model designed by French naval architect François PERUS of Yacht Design Collective and built by Italian manufacturer Top Marine Costruzione. A fast cruising boat for blue waters.

Main features:
Keels for better upwind capability, less wetted surface, and increased safety.
Two steering wheels for better visibility under sail and for maneuvers in tight spaces.
Flexible sail plan easily manageable by a couple.
Flexible interior layout.
Luxurious and warm wooden interior, with a balsa core.
Only three female molds were used for the entire hull (hull, deck, and roof). A 5-axis computerized router was used for tooling. After thorough finite element analysis, the hull lamination consists of an E-glass skin, a Gurit Corecell M foam core based on SAN, epoxy resin, including primary bulkheads made of laminated carbon fiber before demolding. Carbon fiber is used in high-load areas, including longitudinal stringers, beams, and bows, keel junctions, and forward crossbeams.
