I chose this XC-42 for its marine qualities, reliability, and comfort in coastal and offshore navigation. I bought it new in July 2009 and have been the owner since that date. The boat has always been maintained with the utmost care and has given me complete satisfaction over the years. I have mainly sailed in Brittany, both on cruises and shorter outings, in often varied conditions that have allowed me to appreciate its safety and marine behavior. It is a healthy boat, pleasant to steer, and it receives many flattering comments both at anchor and while sailing. We used the boat from May to September, and it has always been stored on land for at least 7 months a year.
