Italia Yachts 16.98 is a very blue boat, designed for long-distance sailing, combining performance, comfort, and timeless style, with the guarantee of safe arrival even in the most difficult conditions. The Italia Yachts 16.98 is a complete and versatile boat with the performance expected from a fast cruiser. A seafaring boat behavior, but with classic and original lines. The result is a yacht that is easy to sail, even with a family crew, in which to enjoy long cruises and everything a cruising sailboat can offer.
The design of the roof characterizes the boat and strongly represents the signature of the shipyard. The distinctive design of the portholes is further emphasized by the presence of different levels that give movement to the entire profile. The grille on the coaming adds a touch of exclusivity, hiding other portholes. The roof is designed to allow for the storage of the bimini and all the lines, which run back to the winches. The central area of the roof is perfect for sunbathing; on each side, there are the jib tracks, with adjustments led back to the cockpit, for optimal mooring angles. The numerous hatches are all flush with the deck. The anchoring system provides a windlass for an anchor housed on a steel bow roller. The slightly inclined bow facilitates the anchoring operation. A bowsprit can be provided as well as a pivoting system that hides the entire anchor arm. The through-roller and the folding mooring cleats highlight the order of the whole.
Different layouts are available, some with a large owner's cabin at the rear. The various layouts range from two to four cabins, including those with a crew cabin at the front with sink and toilet.
