Due to the great success of the one-design classes Swan 45 and Club Swan 42, and an increasing focus on models over 60 feet, the prestigious brand Nautor Swan somewhat lost sight of the segment of "normal-sized" performance cruisers in the early 2000s. This temporary gap was filled by the Finnish shipyard in collaboration with long-time in-house designer Germàn Frers through the Nautor Swan 46 MK III (alternative model designation: Swan 461). With elegant, sleek lines, a modern hull shape with a broad stern, and a tidy deck layout, the Swan 46 extrapolates the concept of its larger sisters into a cruising-friendly size. Large enough to ensure a high level of comfort and luxury on long voyages while still being manageable enough for private owners and their families to handle safely and effortlessly. There are no compromises when it comes to Nautor's signature exclusivity. The craftsmanship standard of boat building at the traditional shipyard in Pietarsaari, Finland sets benchmarks: The flawless fiberglass workmanship, the finish in lovingly crafted teak joinery, and the quality of technical installations are beyond reproach.

Here is the Nautor Swan 46 MK III hull number #403 from 2005 for sale. Two-cabin layout with extended galley, wider aft cabin, and longitudinal sofa in the salon on starboard.
