Layout:
Descending to port, there is a large galley with all conveniences and good working conditions for the cook. To starboard, there is a navigation center with all necessary instruments and a large and easily accessible electrical panel. And here is the owner's description of winter storage and the ongoing maintenance of the boat - always carried out by professionals....
"Since I took over the boat in 2013, the boat has been in the shipyard every winter. The shipyard has been responsible each autumn for dismantling the rig, hauling the boat, high-pressure washing of the hull, and washing, storing the boat in a tent or hall, winterizing the engine and water installations, battery maintenance, and in reverse order in the spring - preparing the boat. Repairing any minor damages, making talked-about improvements and replacements, cleaning bottom paint, polishing, replacing zinc, engine preparation, launching, rigging, etc. Elvstrøm Sejl has dismantled the sails every year, brought them home, checked and dried them, winter stored them, and also reinstalled them in the spring. The shipyards I have used are Jacob Jensen's Boatyard, Sletten Boatyard (Boathouse), and in 2024/25 Humlebæk Boatyard, where I had a new engine installed and all the teak deck seams and coachroof replaced. In addition to improvements and replacements, ongoing repairs have been made to any minor damages to gelcoat, lifelines, rubbing strake, etc. Similarly, Elvstrøm Sejl has continuously replaced UV filters on the sails' leech and foot, among other things."
