The Drabant 33 ('Hejla') is a very stable sailing yacht, classic in design, and has been lovingly maintained and cared for. Its timeless beauty comes from Danish craftsmanship.
Equipped with a Furlex roller furling system for the large genoa and a well-cut mainsail with two reefing points, it is ready to face any weather conditions.
The interior is finished in fine mahogany and offers sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people. The engine (Volvo Penta D1-30, approximately 600 operating hours) was installed in 2006 and has been meticulously maintained by both previous owners, running as reliably as it starts.
Onboard, you will find everything a sailor could wish for in terms of safety and comfort (see list below), with all systems functioning properly and many components being nearly new.
The boat is located in Apenrade (DK), where the mooring can be transferred upon agreement with the welcoming Apenrader Boat Club if desired. The yacht was recently polished and fitted with fresh antifouling while stored for winter at Soeholm, Egernsund, DK, and is now at its berth in Aabenraa (it will soon be available for viewing again during winter storage).
We are parting with our well-kept vessel with a heavy heart as we wish to set new priorities in our lives.
New in 2024/2025: Jabsco marine toilet, cockpit sprayhood/marina cover for cockpit/winter cover (sail Raap), two-row reef mainsail (with lazy bag), Raymarine GPS plotter with new sounder transducer, all sea valves refitted, oil pressure sensor renewed, new cooler (12V/220V) with compressor, handheld VHF radio (DSC capable), gelcoat protection via stainless steel plate at bow (to protect against anchor scratches), zinc anode for shaft (25).
New in 2023: Volvo Penta shaft seal, water-lubricated, renewed by previous owner.
Engine maintenance: annually with oil change, filter replacement, new impeller. Only marine diesel with Liqui Moly additive against 'diesel bug' has been used.
Additional equipment: Electric anchor winch Lofrans 1000 with remote control, 30 m chain with 15 kg Bruce anchor, two electric Lewmar 40 genoa winches, all halyards led to the cockpit, tiller steering, helmsman autopilot, three tested batteries (start/use/anchor winch) from 2022, three-burner gas stove with oven, 5 kg lightweight gas bottle, two sinks, gennaker, VHF radio RO 4500, car radio with two speakers, Toshiba TV, six fenders, mooring lines all around, shore power connection, 120 l water tank, 30 l diesel tank, two 10 l reserve canisters. Position lights, steaming light, masthead light, anchor light (almost all LED), cozy salon lighting, Windex indicator, marine dishware and cutlery... and much more.
A new Quicksilver dinghy (outboard capable) as a tender for land excursions in beautiful anchor bays can be discussed amicably.
