The AMEL 55 is a luxurious, seaworthy bluewater cruiser from France, designed for long-distance sailing. Its mature concept, the high standard of craftsmanship from the shipyard in La Rochelle, and a focus on safety, reliability, and comfort have made AMEL sailing yachts premier choices for long-haul voyages for decades, often found in the most remote areas of the world. The yacht features a very stiff, torsion-free construction with laminated bulkheads using epoxy resins. It has a deep, well-protected central cockpit with high coamings and a hardtop over the helm station. The interior is filled with light and air thanks to numerous deck hatches, portholes, and hull windows. An exclusive, solid finish in American walnut with white upholstered panels and ceiling linings complements the bright floorboards.

This fully equipped private owner’s yacht is offered for sale as a first-hand vessel in a two-cabin version, featuring a luxurious owner’s cabin that spans the entire beam of the boat at the stern. The AMEL 55 was built in 2012 but was only launched in 2013. All roller systems, sheets, and trim devices can be operated from the cockpit.
