The Spirit of Rani was designed by Sean McMillan of Spirit Yachts based on a precise set of requirements from an experienced sailor. The vessel features classic lines, short-handed capability, offshore performance, and the comfort for serious living aboard. She has successfully crossed oceans, participated in Antigua Classic Week, and cruised the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond, primarily single-handed, for over a decade.
Refit History
In 2024 and 2025, the current owner invested over €200,000 to return her to concourse condition. Key updates include:
New rod rigging throughout
New Quantum Fusion mainsail (fully battened) and jib (110%)
New Mastervolt AGM service battery bank (4 x 200Ah, 400Ah @ 24v)
New 60L stainless steel calorifier
Fresh Awlgrip Oyster White hull paint (2 coats lacquer)
General systems service and inspection
