The Beneteau Antares 9 is a popular motor cruiser with inboard diesel engine and shaft drive, economical and reliable. The aft cockpit is deep and safe, ideal for angling and safe for children, and the comfortable interior layout is perfect for weekending. A thoroughly practical design, very easy to handle with bow thruster and electric anchor windlass, and the central heating keeps the boat cosy all year round.
“Amazing Grace” has been in her current tenure since 2008 and has just been slightly cruised ever since. She is regularly serviced and had a recent professional re-spray on her topsides. A great cruising boat on a modest budget.

Offering comfortable accommodation for up to four people, the interior benefits from excellent headroom throughout with plenty of natural light and ventilation.
The forward cabin features an offset double berth to port with an occasional seat to starboard, a hanging locker, storage beneath the berth, an opening foredeck hatch. The separate heads compartment, located to port, is fitted with a manual marine toilet with a holding tank, washbasin, shower, opening portlight and useful storage. An additional storage locker is situated opposite.
Stepping up into the wheelhouse, there is a helm position to starboard with the engine controls and navigation equipment. Folding twin navigator's seat opposite. To port, the comfortable C-shaped dinette converts into a double berth and benefits from storage beneath the seating. A telescopic table leg has been fitted to improve the flexibility and usability of the dining area.
Opposite, the galley is equipped with a split lifting work surface, stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, two-burner gas hob, front-opening 12V Frigomatic refrigerator, and an excellent range of drawers and storage lockers. Cutlery, crockery and galley utensils are included with the sale. Sliding glazed doors provide easy access to the aft cockpit, while additional stainless steel grab handles have been fitted throughout the accommodation for improved security underway.
The cockpit features a bench seat and opening transom gate leading to the bathing platform. A ladder provides access to the flybridge sunbathing area. The interior is finished Basile Blue upholstery and matching curtains, grey carpets throughout the saloon and forward cabin. Webasto 3.5kW diesel-fired warm air heating with three outlets. Hurth reversing reduction gearbox with shaft driven four bladed fixed pitch propeller with fitted rope cutter. Single lever control. Ignition panel with rev counter, oil pressure, temperature and voltmeters. Volvo QL electric trim tabs. Engine hours unknown but are believed to be low. 400L aluminium fuel tank.
