Our in-house designer has created an extremely spacious tender with an innovative interior. The characteristic features of the larger Enkhuizen 744 Tender have been fully retained in this compact model. The sturdy style bow, the beautiful sheer, and the extraordinarily stylish transom with integrated swimming platform, along with the high-quality finish using solid teak wood, are hallmarks of the Enkhuizensloep tender line that clearly manifest themselves in the Enkhuizen 680 Tender.
The hull shape of the 680 invites you to sail in a very wide range of sailing areas. Due to the shallow draft and the sophisticated way in which the hull releases the water, the boat attracts few waves in shallow water. It is a boat that respects banks and other water sports enthusiasts. On larger waters, a high speed can be achieved, even with low motorization, because the hull planes quickly.
The 680 will be equipped with a robust and safe electrical system, allowing for reliable integration of all modern tools. The boat offers enough space for long trips with 8 people. Additionally, the 680 can be outfitted with all the amenities that make a trip a real pleasure.
Characteristic of the interior of an Enkhuizen sloop is the way in which the extra accessories are concealed. High-quality teak is used to invisibly integrate them into the interior at first glance, keeping the space spacious, uncluttered, and safe.
In the aft deck, there is a passage to the swimming platform. Normally, the transom is closed, preventing unsafe situations from waves coming from behind. A door in the transom provides a wide passage from the cockpit to the swimming platform when unfolded. This feature is safe, comfortable, and virtually invisible when not in use.
As with every Enkhuizen sloop, special attention has been paid to creating a safe environment for the 680. All our boats meet the CE standard, but it doesn't stop there. Safety is not only determined by a design category; it is particularly important during the normal use of the boat. The 680 is equipped with a wide range of safety-enhancing standard features. For example, the fenders are attached to the boat via an ingenious click system. These snap-on deck eyes ensure that your fender always hangs at the right height, that no ropes dangle loose in the cockpit, and that you can attach it in no time.
A conveniently laid out interior with easily accessible storage space and concealed accessories ensures that no loose items have to be left lying around in the cockpit. The floor of the 680 is laid on two levels: the helmsman sits high, while the passengers sit lower. This design allows the helmsman to maintain an optimal overview of the sailing area, even when the cockpit is full.
The Enkhuizen 680 features compact entry steps with sturdy support options. Since we build every Enkhuizen sloop by hand, we can install an extra boarding aid for you if desired, making both sailing and getting in and out safer.
