The Enkhuizen 640 was designed in-house. The sailing characteristics are comparable to those of the much-praised tenders: extremely stable, fast sailing and extremely easy to manoeuvre. Due to its sophisticated underwater hull, the Enkhuizen 640 needs relatively little engine power to develop a respectable speed. At high speed, the sloop remains comfortable and steady on course. Due to its shallow draft, slender shapes and excellent manoeuvrability, the 640 can be piloted through even the smallest ditches.

Of course, what applies to every Enkhuizen sloop applies to the 640: safe and very solidly built with a high level of finish. Available with an economical diesel engine, a whisper-quiet electric motor or with a combination of both.
