The Trewes Spitsgatkotter 12.00 was designed in 1968 by the renowned Naval Architect SM van der Meer and built by Van Dam shipyard in Aalsmeer. It is a unique, charming, and custom model with a classic look. The open cockpit and salon are connected by 2 double doors, the spacious open cockpit features a U-shaped seating area, perfect for enjoying a lovely day on the water with guests. A second outside helm station is present, forward cabin with 2 fixed berths and ample hanging/ storage lockers, spacious galley to starboard with built-in Electrolux fridge, stainless steel sink. To port, a large toilet room with a fixed sink. In the salon to starboard, a spacious L-shaped sofa, a bar cabinet to starboard, a sideboard with various cabinets and drawers to port. Floors in the forward cabin, galley, and salon finished with decorative teak inlays. Securit glass in copper-chrome profiles, fixed windows in the aft bulkhead and doors, sliding middle side windows, 1 front window and 1 half-hinged window. Teak with rubber seams over a steel deck. Entire superstructure of 20 mm mahogany plywood, roofs of 3 x 7 mm Occumé plywood laminated. Large sliding hatch in the salon roof. Steel self-draining cockpit floor, lined with teak with rubber seams. Cockpit benches and edges all in solid mahogany. Cockpit equipped with a full cover tent with windows. The ship underwent a complete teak deck renovation in 2022, spacious high open cockpit, 2nd helm station, stainless steel bollards, high double railing, all sealants renewed in 2022, folding teak mast, LED lighting throughout the boat, Victron Digital Multi Control, electrical system, ample storage space.
