Powerquest 270 Laser - 455 HP - Completely restored performance boat

For the lover of true American performance boats!

This Powerquest 270 Laser from 1992 has been completely overhauled and is in exceptionally beautiful condition. Both technically and visually, a lot has been renewed on this boat. No expense has been spared to make it a fast, reliable, and especially unique Powerquest.

The heart of the boat is the fully rebuilt MerCruiser 454 Magnum V8, coupled with a Bravo One drive unit.

After assembly, the engine has been on the test bench and delivers no less than:

455.5 HP at 5,400 RPM
677 Nm torque at 4,000 RPM

With the current 23 pitch propeller, the engine runs at approximately 5,000 RPM and has already recorded a top speed of 98 km/h on GPS.

ENGINE COMPLETELY REBUILT

Among other things, it has been executed:

• Engine block bored and honed




• Rotating assembly fully balanced

• New high-volume oil pump

• Magnum cylinder heads fully rebuilt

The Bravo One drive and transom have also been completely disassembled and rebuilt/repacked. A driveshower has been installed on the drive unit for extra cooling.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT ALSO FULLY OVERHAULED

Not only the engine has been worked on. The entire engine compartment has also received a lot of attention:

• Transom replaced and fitted with new woodwork




• Re-laminated and finished




• New weed pot with through-hull fitting




• New bilge pump




• Electrical system checked and neatly reinstalled/packed
